A study, examined the relationship between dog owners and their preferred breeds -- separated, for this study, into pastoral breeds (like sheepdogs and collies), gun dogs (spaniels/labradors), terriers, hound dogs, toy breeds, working breeds (huskies) and utility breeds (bulldogs).
The results: gun dog and toy dog owners were the most agreeable, while pastoral and utility breed owners were the most extroverted. Owners of toy breeds were the most imaginative, and hound owners tended to be the most emotionally stable.
